I haven't decided if I want the Mud Mutt or not. And I'm thinking this might be a good time to pick up a 311. I can only get one (honestly, I shouldn't be buying ANY), so if I do decide to get one I don't know which it should be. Decisions decisions.

The War Dogs are fatter than the originals, so I won't be buying any.

The 1311 is one of the all-time GREATS from the Yard!!!

Probably the 311, but to me 3/16" is a bit too chunky. And the Mud Mutt is a bit too long, for me.

Don't mind me, Randy. I'm just incredibly picky.

Adam, I prefer the 3/16" thick 13-11 over the 1/4" 11-11; it's definitely the better chopper with a better feel for carrying!

I've not really paid any attention. Only sliced some pork and chicken though.

Small coil Boss Jack and another 11-11 is the only thing I may go for. Most everything looks like leftovers from past ganzas.

hmmmm now I just need to teach my wife how to do the ganza so she can get me some christmas steel.

Or you can do the shopping and she can wrap it and "surprise" you with it.

Shoot... Looks like im not going to get anything from the Ganzaa. Just got an email from the Swamp custom shop, saying my knives are ready to ship... Was way faster than I anticipated

Just looked through the prices. Well, um, how can I describe this nicely.

Speaking of the relatively stock pieces. There was a time when the ganza prices were special in that they were a bargain. Now I'd just rather buy direct from the shop than pay a premium for a unique finish or G10 handle.

At least Dan is still looking out for the dogs and giving us options we've asked for at the same price. 411 in orange is going to go fast. But no deals to convince me to waste time on the ganza.

I'm sure I won't have trouble affording a Mud Mutt now.

Dang, wasn't gonna get anything, but 10% off any knife plus shop credit has me looking at 11-11 numero 2.

Looks like I will be getting myself a birthday present after all!
