Those just popped up at Knob Creek...
No details has been released, other than what the attendees at Knob Creek has been able to tell.
In short; a Regulator variant
Rasmus is correct; a Regulator variant with a spearpoint blade. I just received one the other day, having bought from a Hog at Bladeforums/Busse Exchange.

OK, the knife ihas a 7" blade, 5/16" thick at the spine and tapering to 3/16" one inch from the point, which is SHARP! Mine is the "Zombie Geen" color; I had planned to strip it but the General convinced me to leave it as is.

Re: Ghost Blades - 12/13/13 09:42 PM
reason in chief Tom,
Thanks for the specs
did you know the exactly name of this one, and know also how many of these can be released?
As far as I know, it's just called the Spearpoint Regulator. Only Dan and Jerry Busse know how many are/will be available. I kind of expect to see them at the next Blade show in Atlanta in June.

Re: Ghost Blades - 12/13/13 09:47 PM
Urban Regulator? IIRC
Only "they" know how many were offered, but from the pictures looks like 2 to 3 dozen.

Yes, I have a couple of Regulators as well as the De-Regulators (top guard chopped off).

There are some differences as the thickness of the wire between the two?
Normal version Re or Deregulator and perpoint one?

Yeah, Tom got the one I was looking at longingly, waiting to see if the yard would have something. Should've moved when there was actual steel around
No regrets!

Tom, I think it would not be too hard to find forgiveness for stripping that green stuff off...
I for one could not resist the temptation to do it.
But of course, you need forgiveness form a higher power
You're absolutely correct Brother!

That's a nice stabby blade shape.

Re: Ghost Blades - 12/14/13 05:52 PM
I love the toxic green, but not as much as jungle green with orange handles.
Im not a fan of the toxic green
I don't care for it either; it was the different blade shape that made me want it.

Re: Ghost Blades - 12/15/13 06:07 AM
I side with greaser on this. Jungle green is my favorite. I actually like the zombie green more than the Swamp's Moss green.
I think it helps that Jungle is the smoothest coating of all. My old Basic series blades had a very smooth black that I wish would make a comeback.
I still prefer satin blades, but sage, gray, and black are good too!

Re: Ghost Blades - 12/15/13 03:56 PM
My Ratmandu and Rodent Solution in zombie green and black canvas should be shipping any day now... Im a sucker for the green
Green is the General's favorite color, but more of a Hunter green, like what Busse calls Moss green.

Re: Ghost Blades - 12/15/13 08:38 PM
Lots of bussekin for sale on eBay one guy has a lot on there almost like he is clearing out a collection.
One of the Hogs is selling a bunch of knives to help his brother in the hospital.

Re: Ghost Blades - 12/15/13 10:52 PM
Ah ok so that is probably him then I bid on a few but was outbid almost immediately.
Seems like there's always someone selling Bussekin on eBay, trying to make a nice profit.

Hello guys,
some of you have tried to remove paint the Regulator Spearpoint green?
I thought about it, but I'm going to leave mine as it is for now.

Re: Ghost Blades - 12/16/13 07:57 PM
I would like to see the naked blade,
if it is as bad as the 711, you can not remove paint.

Re: Ghost Blades - 12/17/13 12:28 AM
I agree with you, but for us Italians, it is all the more problematic.
The Italian post office creates problems for ship knives in the USA.
The cost of shipping (+ round trip) about $ 110.
Upon returning to Italy, often, I have to pay again, customs fees (+ 30%).

Re: Ghost Blades - 12/17/13 12:34 AM
Ouch sorry man I can see the issue there I think its time you learned to do it so you can make yours pretty and anough money to buy more. at least that would be my plan of action in that situation.
