Stuck at home... - 01/07/14 08:18 PM

I have been stuck at home since Sunday do to bad weather hitting our area. I think I am going stir crazy just sitting here! Before the weather hit, the flu went through my house so I have actually been stuck here since Last Thursday...I am very ready to get back to work. We have been on a level 3 snow emergency, which means me are not aloud to be on the roads at all unless we are emergency personnel. It just got lifted to a level 2, which means we aren't to be on the roads unless absolutely necessary. I am ready for the bad weather to go away!!!!!!

Sounds like the perfect excuse to move the operation back to Texas!

Hopefully y'all don't have too much longer to be holed up.

I hope it is not much longer also! The schools have already been cancelled for tomorrow. The freezing temps are just keeping the roads iced over.

Schools down here in PA are closing just because of the cold! I suppose I understand but back in my day when we had to walk barefoot through a blizzard and up hill both ways...

Stay home, stay warm and stay safe. The orders can wait til it's safe to travel.

That's really bad. I remember one year in KY, we had 4 inches of snow and all schools and government offices closed for three days.

When I was a kid in Michigan, they went outside with a ruler to check for 12 inches of snow before school was cancelled.

I think its more of a different mentality and preparation than time.

Please put a good word in to the big guy up above and ask if they can move that fine weather out here to Virginia and that would be northern VA. I love hunting when its white outside.
