Weight of 1111?

Weight of 1111? - 01/23/14 09:12 PM

Just curious if you owners know the weight of the 1111. The list says 17oz but that seems light since the DFCG is listed as 20.1oz....I'm more of a weight to performace person than a price to performance...although Dans pricing helps seal the deal

Thanks

I concur, I've read a few sources saying 21 oz.

I've changed the Knife Specs info to reflect a 21.6 oz weight as popular consensus seems to indicate that is the actual weight.

My Sage/Tan 1111 comes in at 606 grams on my digital scale, with known accuracy of less than a gram. That's ~21 3/8 ounces (21.376 to be exact).

I just received my 1111 and mine weighs less, 593 grams (~20.9 oz)

Felt so light I had to try peeling a potato..

Might not be the first tool I reach for.. but it peels, slices and dices. wink

My tan one ways 20.06 on a scale accurate to 0.00001 in an enclosed hood. So there seems to be a big variation.

I think this profile would look cool with a bowie tip.
