We just found out for sure on Saturday. It's our first. We're an older couple 39/40 so we have more risk, but we're excited.

Congratulations to both of you! Raising a child takes a lot of effort but is very rewarding. Take a lot of pictures and videos. They grow up very quickly.

My wife looked at me sadly last night when were having dinner and said, "I guess no red wine for me for the next 9 months." Haha... love her.

Excellent call on the Yardware! I wish there were wooden versions of the SYKCO and Busse lines. Great way to get the kid used to a knife.

Start out with a wooden spatula.

Start boning up on your camping/survival skills now so that you can teach them to your child later. It's a great way to spend time teaching the youngster to love the outdoors as well as developing a strong bond with him/her.

Seriously, congratulations. I only had an adopted son (he was 2) but it was still a joy raising him until he went to live with his mother at 14. Gee whiz, that was 30 years ago.

Kelly and I were on the couch watching Aliens this past weekend and I said, "I bet this hits home a little more now." Thank God she has a sense of humor.

Hence, our baby's nickname is now Newt.

With four, I think that Jerry could use counseling! ...................

Well... the baby is healthy! Strong heartbeat and has good development.

The baby looks like it's fishing (which is fitting considering I'm a fly fisherman)!
