That seems like a great price! SR101 steel. All of them seem like good deals.
I skipped the battle saw but these will be too hard to skip. The question is do I buy both thicknesses or one?

I have a question for Dan on the deal:

If I buy one Chop House can I get two Skinners at $69.95 or is it one for one?

Either way I am getting one Lean Cut and a Skinner, but...just wondering if I can talk myself into more

While these look very cool, I'll be passing. No need for the Chop House, and I just can't bring myself to like the Mudder handles enough (although I have a Scrapper 5LE )

Kinda glad actually, as with a CS Rodent 6, CG SOB and Ratweiler on order, I'm probably maxed out for the foreseeable future.

I will mod the Rattle Hawk heavily... The shape is super cool, but a lot of the sharpend edges and the spike will have to go...

I would love to have a lean chopper but the 1111 has superior length and I might get a 1311 somehow someday...

And with the SYCO skinner I am missing the choil...

HOLY BLEEP....I love some muddy but where I live a moss tan handle will look like you are carrying nothing. I once dropped a moss swamp warden in a giant fern.... so hard to find.

I got very excited about the skinner, even started drooling, then I started reading ...if it were 1/8 and no choil I would be in love. Love the mudders on that blade shape though...looks great!

Dang it man, I keep telling myself that I got to quit the knife a month club. But so many great releases lately. Need to compare the Chop house specs to the Mountainmandu that I just broke in. I'm sure that I would prefer the Resiprene handle.
In regards to the skinner, love Mudder handles but don't care for clip points. Drop points rule for game knives.

Excellent observation. My eyes deceived me..as I thought it was a drop point. Dangit!

First off, thank you Dan for a new design, seeing the chophouse makes me all warm and tingly. I prefer a Skinner with more belly, everyone has a preference. Now to decide what thickness of chophouse.

So the Chop House appears to be about the same size as the 911,
but may have a little more blade heavy feel with the increased blade height.
Smaller than the Mountainmandu's 10"x.280 thickness.
Falls in between the Basic 8 and Basic 10.
Guess it will be a Chop House Lean Cut for me to mix things up a bit.
And Muddy Brown and Tan, One of my favorite new combos to match the Battle Grade ASH.

Could totally see using a lean chop house to hack up a brisket or some ribs. Mmmmhmmmm....

Well the 3/16" 1311 is my most used knife (along with the HRLM) for tactical yardwork. Since I have always wanted Son of 1311 this will do fine. The 3/16 is more than enough for what I use it for and if not...I have other knives.

I'm glad Dan has the Tan Handles and finish options, if he can swing that for all upcoming releases it would be great as well

3\16 looks like a winner to me. I missed out on the larger 11 series so this should take care of that. Got a basic 8 and ASHBM want some in-between.

It's Wednesday, It's been Wednesday for an hour and a half. WHY AREN'T THE KNIVES UP FOR SALE ON THE SITE?! YOU SAID WEDNESDAY!

Oh man, I think a 3/16 inch Chophouse would be a GREAT chopper. The way the "Tip" of the blade is made will give it a weight forward feel at least and lead to a harder hit with just the snap of the wrist. I think Dan will have another good one here, MAYBE one to rival or BEAT the exalted Ratweiler! WAY TO GO DAN!

I really like the looks of the Chophouse. And the Skinner should be a really good one, long enough for some good cutting and that upswept belly/tip will really let you separate the flesh.

You know, the more I look at the Chophouse blades the more it reminds me of my Negrito Bolo, specially the "Tip". I've always liked that blade profile.

I would get the "lean" version of the Chop-House; you will already have the thicker Battle Saw.

Fine looking knives though. I don't hunt so the Skinners are just for utility work; the thickness and clip point make them interesting to me. Love the look of the Chops!

1. Mudders (all the same size)
2. The 311 size
3. All the other 11 series size
4. Regulator type
5. Wardog Handle (Thanks Sethro, I had forgotten this one)

And Yeah, that Leaner Chop House IS SWEET! And I think the Skinner is gonna be a really nice blade, specially for it's name/purpose.

I have gotta get funds for a Leaner and Skinner. My guess is the skinner will go in the present pile. I've got nieces and nephews that have knives waiting for them, along with some other family. Scrapivore, 411, regulator, maybe my S6. The Skinner would be great for one of the kids.

The b8 le was the perfect mid size knife for me but I missed out and didn't realize it had been released till it was gone.

The blade color option was a surprise, I went with the leaner in moss green and a skinner in moss green as well just because.

I have the b8 too, and i sold my 911 bc as chopper the 1111 was better so i really try to find a reason to buy...but there is non, right?
