The September 11 attacks (also referred to as 9/11) were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks blamed on the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda against the United States on the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001. I Pray that "They" will never make us forget. History, although sometimes bad (as in we done bad things) MUST be remembered, if for no other reason than to keep from repeating the mistakes made.

As I said above, when we forget is when we either repeat the mistakes of the past or let others do it to us again.

Have we as a country done bad things? Most assuredly. Will we do wrong things in the future, once again yes. BUT we must always strive to remember our past mistakes and try our very best to not repeat those mistakes, or let those things be done to us again.

One thing we do not think of is that many cultures in the world do not look at things short term as we Americans do. THEY look at things 10-20-30 or more years down the line. To them the important thing is attaining their goal, even if it is not accomplished in their lifetime, but the lifetime of their children or grandchildren.

And YES, you DO know who I am talking about and I DO NOT apologize for that, because we should NOT apologize for correct, factual statements.

We as an American culture are an endangered species unless we wake up and begin to safeguard OUR way of life the way they strive to ensure theirs.

It's a day I wish I could but never will forget. It will live forever in infamy.

We have enemies all about us who became emboldened for the better part of a decade. We purposefully lost ground we may never recover. There will be hell to pay, but unfortunately, it is my children, I fear, who will be forced to pay it.

Evil crosses all boundries. Nationality, Religious beliefs (or lack there of) Languages, Male or Female (Or confused) Sane or deranged.

Often when something unbelievable happens and the "Perpetrators" are a certain Race, Nationality, Belief or Sex, we tend to hold all those of "That Kind" responsible. THAT IS NOT TRUE! We should make sure those we talk with understand WE ONLY hold those accountable who actually did (or do) those unimaginable horrendous acts.

That being said, IF others of a certain group advocate the actions of the "terrorists", then they also become members of those groups that need to be watched and remain vigilant of even though they themselves did not commit the actual acts.

So My friends, keeps your eyes and ears open no matter where you may roam. At home or abroad. EVIL is everywhere.

And don't overlook the libs in D.C.

I flew out of Detroit on 9/11 of this year. In case you don't know, Detroit is next door to Dearborn, Michigan. Dearborn has the highest muslim population in the United States.

The security at the airport was tighter than usual.

I'm disgusted by the freedoms we've sacrificed in the "name of security". Hegelian Dialectic applies here.

A great example of the Hegelian Dialectic is the Reichstag Fire of 1933.

PROBLEM: Alleged attack by a mental handicap communist on the people's house.

REACTION: Outrage against communism and consolidation of support of the fledgling Adolph Hitler.

SOLUTION: The government suspended the German People's civil liberties EVEN THOUGH THE FIRE WAS CAUSED BY BULGARIANS.

Political consequences

The day after the fire, at Hitler's request, President Hindenburg signed the Reichstag Fire Decree into law by using Article 48 of the Weimar Constitution. The Reichstag Fire Decree suspended most civil liberties in Germany, including habeas corpus, freedom of expression, freedom of the press, the right of free association and public assembly, the secrecy of the post and telephone.[11] These rights were not reinstated during Nazi reign. The decree was used by the Nazis to ban publications not considered "friendly" to the Nazi cause. Despite the fact that Marinus van der Lubbe claimed to have acted alone in the Reichstag fire, Hitler, after having obtained his emergency powers, announced that it was the start of a Communist plot to take over Germany. Nazi newspapers blared this "news".[11] This sent the Germans into a panic and isolated the Communists further among the civilians; additionally, thousands of Communists were imprisoned in the days following the fire (including leaders of the Communist Party of Germany) on the charge that the Party was preparing to stage a putsch. Speaking to Rudolph Diels about Communists during the Reichstag fire, Hitler said "These sub-humans do not understand how the people stand at our side. In their mouse-holes, out of which they now want to come, of course they hear nothing of the cheering of the masses."[12] With Communist electoral participation also suppressed (the Communists previously polled 17% of the vote), the Nazis were able to increase their share of the vote in the 5 March 1933, Reichstag elections from 33% to 44%.[13] This gave the Nazis and their allies, the German National People's Party (who won 8% of the vote), a majority of 52% in the Reichstag.[13]

The Stanford Prison Experiment (SPE) was a social psychology experiment that attempted to investigate the psychological effects of perceived power, focusing on the struggle between prisoners and prison officers. It was conducted at Stanford University on the days of August 14–20, 1971, by a research group led by psychology professor Philip Zimbardo using college students.[1] In the study, volunteers were randomly assigned to be either "guards" or "prisoners" in a mock prison, with Zimbardo himself serving as the superintendent. Several "prisoners" left mid-experiment, and the whole experiment was abandoned after six days. Early reports on experimental results claimed that students quickly embraced their assigned roles, with some guards enforcing authoritarian measures and ultimately subjecting some prisoners to psychological torture, while many prisoners passively accepted psychological abuse and, by the officers' request, actively harassed other prisoners who tried to stop it. The experiment has been described in many introductory social psychology textbooks,[2] although some have chosen to exclude it because its methodology is sometimes questioned.[3]

The U.S. Office of Naval Research[4] funded the experiment as an investigation into the causes of difficulties between guards and prisoners in the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. Certain portions of it were filmed, and excerpts of footage are publicly available.

Some of the experiment's findings have been called into question, and the experiment has been criticized for unscientific methodology and possible fraud.[5][6] Critics have noted that Zimbardo instructed the "guards" to exert psychological control over the "prisoners". Critics also noted that some of the participants behaved in a way that would help the study, so that, as one "guard" later put it, "the researchers would have something to work with," which is known as demand characteristics. Variants of the experiment have been performed by other researchers, but none of these attempts have replicated the results of the SPE.
