Sigh, I can only dream about buying knives again. Since I lost my house and most of my stuff after not being able to go back to Apple after dad passed away and now the corona thing has made it almost impossible to get a job. It’s just crazy out there.

I have never received so many emails asking if pre-orders were going to be accepted for the Trash 2. By the way the answer is no...sorry! Tonight at 9:00 pm Eastern Time... for everyone. By the way, it will be available on the Scrap Yard, Swamp Rat, and Busse Combat sites to ensure access in ordering.

The best story that came in an email should receive an award or at least a star for the refrigerator. It came from a Dog explaining that he needed to get his order in because he was going to be taking an online exam for one of his college courses at the time of the offer. His success would determine if he would graduate or not. The Trash 2 would be his guarantee of good luck. Oh the pressure placed upon me from this tail (get it...tail) of woe.

Alas after all we have bought lately I guess I will just have to settle for my old standby Chopper. One not near as comfortable nor as capable a chopper as the Trash 2 new release. But suffer I will. I will just have to be satisfied using my Pumpkin Handled BWM! Bahahahaha.
And Dan, being the Good Patriotic American that we all know and love should offer a substantial discount for disabled Veterans. It would be the RIGHT thing to do, to offer back to those that sacrificed a part of themselves so that others may sleep soundly without fear at night. Oh, did I mention I have a VA disability.

I've done a few myself. I am into the double figures for Bussekin blades. We won't talk about what I call my premium folders. IF you haven't done so, DO NOT add up the total cost of the knives you've bought. It WILL scare you.

Last time I did that I switched to guns... They cost about the same and one's more likely to get outlawed first...

Now I regret many of the blades I sold off... Especially the BWMs, though those were sold off around the time I was having all my surgeries--5 knee, one shoulder, and one hand--and all the subsequent hospitalizations to deal with the screw ups

Eventually, I just gave up on surgeries. Figured whatever I fix is just gonna break again

Help me decide. How does this compare to the Dogfather? An inch shorter and 0.04" thinner? Am I missing something with it?

There have been in recent years a few that seem somewhat similar to this (on paper at least). How does the TRASH 2 differ from the last long-running 9" chopper? Not badmouthing it, just wondering. Seems like the original TRASH was something special (I haven't actually handled it to know). Is this one magic too?

For me, the Mega Ratweiler REALLY hit it out of the park! I was a little apprehensive about that one at first, but once I held it, I never wanted to put it down!

Would I feel the same wonderment and awe with this, or would I just be wishing it was another Dogfather (I'd REALLY like another Dogfather or even an SOD for that matter....strictly for the kids... )? I think I might have missed out on a magical blade with the Chophouse Thick Cut. Is this going to be something like that, or more generic?

Wow, this was only available for one month? Guess I missed out. I thought Scrapyard was dead, it's been years since I saw something available for purchase from here so I eventually stopped looking. For those who got a Trash 2, how does it compare to the 911?

I haven’t followed or been a blade junkie for years. Just getting back into it. I was super excited to see this in jungle green but apparently that isn’t the case. I am trying to find pics of the finishes. Desert sage used to be quite smooth. Not jungle green smooth but close. Is there anything like that? I don’t understand why jungle green isn’t an option anymore. It was by far the best finish. My guess is it took more finishing so nothing showed through. If anyone has a pic with multiple finishes that would be awesome. The finish on my leprechaun warden is my absolute favorite.

Good morning Yard. Nice day outside to work on the deck.

I saw that and thank you. It's quite a bit over retail and the sheath isn't my style. I'm picky and the new big boy announced is gonna get my money for the moment. Plus the more I think about it I doubt a trash2 is gonna kick my hog8 out of camping rotation. If they bring it back like was eluded to originally I'll pick one up from the factory to try out down the road.
