I hate to admit that I feel the same way about this myself... used to be mudders for me. Now I've lost interest in mudders or really any other handles for smaller EDC type blades. I actually really liked it a lot on 3.5"-4" Hack Wardog that I used to carry in my pocket EDC. I'm hoping this one will fill the same void, as I miss that blade a lot and I don't see many of the short War Dog Hacks these days.

Upon further thought, I suspect this may be a sort of teaser to what the 'Big Chunk of SR-101' is that's 'coming soon'. As noted earlier in this thread, it does look much like a tiny version of a seax to my eyes. I really hope we get a full size seax to pair up with this little ugly... smile

on the coated one.
It is the same grind ? just coated ? The pic is not picking up the grind lines on the coated one.

They are all exactly the same ?

asking for precise sheath making purposes smile

The grind is the same on both coated and scrap satin.

Re: MS-221 Coming This Wednesday - 02/10/21 10:41 PM

Man, it IS tempting. ButI was finally successful in getting my 311 blade thinned out and it is so much sweeter now and still has enough “meat” to serve as a mini pry bar if needed I will probably pass.

I”ll just save my money for the new Scrapazshi with the Regulator Handle. wink

It does appeal to me, quite strongly actually. But I just can’t right now, specially with a big Gun-show coming up in about 3 weeks. I am hoping to find some of the stuff I need. frown

Dan,

I have to ask... This advertisement calls it the MS-221, but the newsletter said WS-221. Which one is what this knife is called? I can see why it's an easy mixup between the two, just curious really.
