Almost 15 years of Scrapyard knives

Pretty amazing that it was almost 15 years ago that I joined this forum. A better group of people I’ve never met. Dan is great as a host and keeps making knives I need to buy. Thanks for everything.

13 years for me, and I feel the same as you Ted. Good folks, good knives and good President. DAN I mean, not, well you know.

Im Very new but have acumulated quite a few beautiful hard working blades from the yard and have the pleasure of conversing with some awesome dogs daily! Hope you guys enjoy my company aswell because i plan on stickin around !! Thanks ALL !!

Each yeah I have. Spent 20 years in the Air Force (had to interact with Army, Navy, and the Navy’s Marine Corps) way to much. I should have gotten a medal. Then I spent 25 years working in Law Enforcement (3 years as a road officer, and 5 years “riding with the boys” while dispatching the whole 25 years. So yeah, I’ve Dan a couple things in a 5 man PD and a 20-23 man sheriff’s Dept. We had a few murders, rapes, robberies, car thefts, man fights and drug labs (meth) out the wazoo. I retired for the second and last time in April of 2019. Best decision I ever made, besides getting married to Patty.

It is hard to believe and I am only 26 years old...okay at least in my mind LOL

What a great bunch of Dogs...I consider all friends

I DO love this place. The knives are REALLY good, but the folks are better. Heck even that Dan feller is alright.

I don’t know about the present but some time ago when I was at Ft. Dix, my friends and I would often go to next door McQuire AFB for chow. They had much better chow than we did.

YUP! When I was sent to Homestead after Andrew hit, the Commanding ARMY General ordered them to no longer utilize our chow “tents”. We got a hot breakfast and Supper. The Army would come in droves to our facilities.

Yes indeed, the Chair Force eats and lives well.

Funny you say that. My father told us that if we went into the service it should be the Navy or Air Force because of the food...He was WWII so his info still rides true
