Steel Check on Aisle Nine... - 06/27/22 02:48 PM

Hey guys! Been a while I know...

I've got a quick question for those who've been around long enough and maybe for Dan if he's around.

I've always known that the SOD, both CG and LE are SR77, I remember that from when they were released and have owned several of both CG and LE from the original release. However, recently I've been asked if it's SR77 or SR101 because it is listed differently by different people.

So I told them SR77 and the went to the Specs page to verify what I knew to be the case, and low and behold the specs page lists the CG as SR77 and the LE as SR101. I'm pretty sure this is incorrect.

So, convince me that I'm wrong and that my memory is failing me. OR, if I'm correct as I suspect, Someone needs to change it on the specs page because it's causing a bit of confusion to those who weren't around when it was released...

Thanks in advance for your help.

Okay, Well Maybe I should have tried the search first, LOL!

I found the original release post. and It's DEFINITELY. SR77, for both CG and LE.

Can somebody please change it on the Knife Specs page please!

Thanks.

Steel change on Aisle 9, DONE!

I thought I took the info direct from Dan’s original release post. Oh well, I’ve been wrong before.

I've used that page as a Bible since discovered its existence.

Sorry I haven’t been keeping it up lately. I have unlocked it so y’all can make additions. I just ask to keep it restricted to info only though. I know that a lot of folks use it. I do too a lot.

Yes, I'm very thankful to Shunk for creating it!

I have used it often over the years to help me keep up with all the knives in the SYKCO universe.

Yeah, I don't make it here very often these days. I generally spend a little more time on Facebook.

I'm in many different knife related groups. Even one in particular that is of special interest to me that I help Admin.
