New PSK bag and set up !!!

I have loaded all my suvival gear into my new kit bag and affixed a new knife rig !

You are probably sick of me posting pics of snakes but I keep finding them and then can't help but take pics !!!

This snake was real grumpy, must have woken up on the wrong side of the rock this morning !!!<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
This snake tried to bite me a few times and came pretty close, in fact he struck my camera lens, which brings me to this point.
I know I have said that these snakes do not have any venom but they can still give a nasty bite.I have to mention this incase someone reads my posts, spots a snake and thinks pit says these are ok and then gets bitten !!!
My son was bit by one about half this size last year and you can ask him if you don't believe they hurt ! I didn't want to hurt the snake by pulling it off my son so made my son lay quiet with the snake on the ground until the snake thought it safe to let go and wriggle away !!!!

As you can see it is a horrible day !!!!

Great photos ,they made me real homesick for BC.
I love the maxpedition set up you have. The Mutt is perfect for a survival knife but a bit thick for an EDC.

I was thinking that a mora a firesteel and a few water purification tablets as a cheap emergency survival kit. I have a big one with a Cold Steel Spetznaz shovel but the little one would be very cheap enough so you could stash one in your boat,car or anywhere.

Nah, I just have them incase I get lost or have an accident and then happen to find a phone or in my case the most common use is that I arrive at the parking lot to begin my hike and realise I have no change for the parking machine !!!

Great stuff. Never get tired of snake pics. Having everything labled in your kit is a great idea and something I need to do. Beautiful country you are living in there. It was too hot to get outside yeaterday for me. I need to move.
