Re: INFI Street Scrapper 4 - 12/21/06 06:19 AM

Friggen sweet! I've been lurking on the forums for awhile. I saw this in the things to come thread and was really hoping it would come up soon. Low and behold, here it is. 1 ordered.

I left a note with the order asking about military discounts, but I'll ask here as well. Do you have one? Do I need to send a copy or something if my ID? Can you change the order for me if there is one?

Thanks and keep up with the ultra bad@ss knives!

Re: INFI Street Scrapper 4 - 12/21/06 07:10 AM

Awww man! You HAD to come out with these now while I’m broke. I barely have enough for my Crash Axe and the new Howler. This is a bad time of year to make your living as an eBay seller. Everyone is broke from spending on Xmas presents, and anything you list usually doesn’t go for much. It usually takes weeks for people to get their finances together. Most people live paycheck to paycheck now-a-days.

I thought these wouldn’t come out until after the Bowie, so I thought I had some time to save up for it. I don’t have any INFI yet. This will be my first piece. Hmm…I may have to go ahead and try listing some stuff anyway, even if it sells for less.

Hi,
A couple of questions. The anonymous pouch sheath with no pic, is that for the Street Scrapper? Are these in stock ready to ship? Or is it a busse style order and wait? Thanks for the info.

Re: INFI Street Scrapper 4 - 12/21/06 09:24 AM

I have been checking the site pretty consistently to see if the Bowie was for sale yet. I was quite surprised to see this new knife up for sale. I am also curious about the sheath. As soon as someone gets a picture of the sheath up I will be ordering mine.

Prolly better off:
1. Its available
2. Warden madness has been leaving lots of folks empty handed
3. Cheaper
4. Arguably the street is a better design

My order is in. Now, bring on the bowie!
Posted By: Jerrwhy

Re: INFI Street Scrapper 4 - 12/21/06 05:50 PM

My intention was to get a skelton game warden and pair it up with the bowie on a custom sheath. I think it would have been a great combination for hunting here in Florida. Oh well the street scrapper will have to do for now.

Peace

Re: INFI Street Scrapper 4 - 12/21/06 09:48 PM

Okay Patti,

I did my part and ordered one. I didn't know if they come with a sheath or not. I guess I will find out later. This will be my first knife from SYK. I am glad I have been checking this site daily since I found it. Maybe we could get a notification system set up where forum members could request notice be sent when a new model is added to the site. I think it would generate sales quickly and give you excellent direct feedback on model popularity. This could help in estimating production needs.

Sorry, can you tell I run a business?

It launches a new window when you click the button, is it possible you have pop up blocker preventing it? Good luck.

Hot Dog - I just ordered one!!! Thanks for the tip Rabid Squirrel - you were correct of course. I am unfamiliar with my daughter's computer equipment, and tripping all over myself! I am "computer challenged".

We are visiting my daughter's family here just North of Tampa, Florida - not only did we get to see my new grandson for the first time, but we get to spend Christmas with the grandkids! Grandkids sure prove to you that you aren't as young as you used to be! We are loving it!! Tom

Re: INFI Street Scrapper 4 - 12/24/06 07:16 PM

Thanks guys! When I was a young kid in school, during summer break I enjoyed spending a week or two at my Grandparents' home in the country. They worked my butt off, but for a reward sometimes my Uncle would take me fishing or my Grandfather would take me shooting (he was an excellent shot even when older). I have always remembered those times as some of the best, and I hope to be able to do so for MY Grandkids. In the meantime, my son and son-in-law love to come to our place for a little vacation with fishing and shooting. My daughter is a pretty darn good shot as well!

Anyway, I hope to help teach my Grandkids a love of the outdoors and related activities. But tonight we have to get ready for Santa !!! Tom
