Hiyas Patti and Dan (or other Scrapyard employees/officials if reading),

Can someone from Scrapyard please indicate whether there will be any more Street Scrapper 4s available or have I missed the boat forever?

Thanks

"We will be making one more offer of any left over Street Scrappers once all orders have been sorted out. A number of Dogs were a bit overzealous and have thrown some back . . . so there should be a second chance for one more quick throw . . . . Stay tuned for more details!

Sounds like you may get ONE more chance, but you will have to be QUICK !!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> If you can't spend a LOT of time on this forum, you might try to arrange something with a fellow forumite who does, so that they can get a Street Scrapper 4 for you. Good luck on your quest! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

They also mentioned that they might make more in the future from a different steel. (not INFI)

Maybe. Let me explain, we will be carrying the scrapper 4 in SR77. The INFI scrapper 4's are gone unless someone cancels their order. If we have any cancellations on the INFI versions we will post their availabilty...but this is highly unlikely. Keep an eye out for the SR77 version in the near future.

Re: Street Scrapper 4 Question for Patti/Dan - 12/30/06 02:51 AM

Thanks for clearing that up Dan. My guess is that the Scrapper 4 in SR77 will be "almost" as good as the INFI version anyway, although I am pleased that I was able to get in on the INFI version.

By the way, if you need any help diving in Jerry's dumpsters I think that we could round up a small crew to hit his shop on the weekends and take out the trash for them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Those hogs are so protective of their INFI its not funny. But I scored well on this scrap run and got the knives out.

You are correct that there will be nothing like INFI but SR77 has amazing traits.

Re: Street Scrapper 4 Question for Patti/Dan - 12/31/06 06:47 PM

Thanks for the info Dan.

As for the INFI, if any of these Dogs do decide that INFI is a bit too porky for their tastes and toss their INFI bones back, I'd very much appreciate a shot at the leftovers.

Thanks to the big dog Dumpster Dan, us dogs can have and enjoy INFI too! Thank you Dan!!

I own a Shiba Inu, which is the smallest Japanese dog. They hunt bear, boar & birds in Japan!!

Us Dogs hunt Hogs!! Nuahahahahahahahahahah!!

Re: Street Scrapper 4 Question for Patti/Dan - 01/01/07 08:54 AM

I tried to get a scrapper 6 but they were out of stock so I kept checking back and heard about the scrapper 4 in time to get one. I was not sure I wanted it but they way people were talking I figured(actually Bjjzak told me)I should get it while it is available and if I don't like it I could probably get what I paid for it.
After I put my order in I learned a bit about INFI and foumd out how lucky I was to get one it felt like I got something really special and the fact that there will be no more INFI 4's makes it even better. I also like the genuine enthusiasm
from the scrapyard crew. It definitly has a family vibe to it. The only problem is the sudden urge to not only buy a bowie but maybe a 6 or better yet 2 scrapper 6's
a regular and an LE. Or 2 regular but go full custom on one with polished blade and elk scales. This is not a good sign is it?

It's from one of the Silence of the Lambs movies. Hannibal Lector.

Hi Dan,
in the movie Hannibal (released 2001), Mason Verger (an old disfigured, wheelchair-bound, "former" victim of Dr.Lecter) is thrown into his own pit of wild porkers who proceed to devour him limb from limb.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I am really looking forward to the bowie. I would also like a scrapper chute knife. That is a great design and very practical

OK, I thought it might be but the picture looked as if it could have been from something different.
