Battoning a Mutt !!!

Took my Scrap Mutt and my Furry Mutt out for a walk in the snow today !!!

Spotted some feathery friends....

Anyways I decided to try out some battoning to take down a small tree with my Mutt....

Things were goin well....

When I heard a crack I realised that I shoulda started at the bottom then finished at the top...Oh well ya live and learn eh !!!

On with the walk...

Man what a great day it was today....

They do look like them eh !!! Actually they are American Quail....same family as Chukar I guess !!!

I personally think the DM was made for batoning, but hey what do I know

an entry tool should definetly handle batoning and it does <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

well busses are nice but I think Scrap yard is just as nice really. the busse blades look cooler but ....

sounds like a great blade. I'd go 7 inch blade or bigger like cgdf, but maybe that is becaus I don't have a DFLE.
I do like that size though. the RD 9 is great. I use it more often then the CGDF but I have used the CGDF for hard chopping, like my khuks.

What it that on your dogs collar? The yellow and red thing.
