One of the best in a while.....recieved a new knife.....got a Busse shirt....went to a Gun Show....actually even got to go out Saturday night (had my folks watching the wee one). So yes, I had an action packed one.
Hello Patti ! I'm sure many of us had a good weekend since we received our Scrappers! I hope this is a very successful debut model for Scrap Yard. Now, about the next model to be released .........? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Re: Howdy - 09/18/06 10:36 PM
why do you think us knife-knerds are afraid to talk to her, duh. Knife chicks are like punk chicks or biker chicks -- intimidatingly cool....

Re: Howdy - 09/18/06 11:23 PM
Hell yeah, I used to date this punk chick.......maybe I should tell this story.....I will leave it at she was great! So Patti How was your weekend?
dogg- I don't agree with "intimidating" , but I can concur with "cool". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Re: Howdy - 09/19/06 02:27 AM
She reminded me of the strippers in Killeen...they had more scars than the soldiers coming back from Iraq...I mean this chick was hard! Had her earings ripped out in fights and wouldn't hesitate to swing at someone! Well she wore these baggy clothes that covered a Keeley like body.....ok I gotta stop now......family forum...family forum....
GF - A Keeley like body huh ? I bet she could sell a few Girl Scout cookies! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Re: Howdy - 09/19/06 05:35 AM
Keeley body with a Tonya Harding attitude....I had to be careful or she would kneecap me!!
Keeley body/Harding attitude - Hmmm - what a shameful waste. Xaviera Hollander attitude - now that's better. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Re: Howdy - 09/22/06 11:42 PM
So anything new in Missouri?
No, not much changes around here, at least not quickly. Just the way I like it! I DID pick up a little .25 auto for a CCW pistol, for when the Ruger P89 is a little too big. My wife loves to shoot it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
So what's new with you GF ? I hope April had a good birthday - sounds like she enjoyed posting a message. Keep her at it - fuel the knife passion!

Re: Howdy - 09/27/06 01:25 AM
She even used the new knife to open her gifts....see how handy knives are......planting the seed, and using plenty of fertilizer!
I KNEW you were full of "fertilizer"! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

When it comes to knife purchases, sometimes you have to treat unapproving family members like mushrooms - feed 'em bull$h!t and keep 'em in the dark. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Such wisdom, such wisdom !

Re: Howdy - 09/27/06 02:16 PM
Did you learn that in Indiana or Texas?
He must have learned that in Indiana, as he didn't use a "ya'll" in his post. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Re: Howdy - 09/28/06 12:21 AM
Maybe he has forgotten his time in Texas...I weep at the thought....
GF, sounds like you need to go back to Texas ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Remember the Alamo, and Jim BOWIE who fought there ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
I thought Willie wrote "The Bluest Eyes in Texas", not "the wettest eyes in Louisiana ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Re: Howdy - 09/29/06 03:16 AM
Where abouts in Mo do you live PK? Years back my Father had some land near Branson. I have a cousin who moved down there a few years ago. I may take a drive and visit him. There's a buck up there with my name on it. The problem is fiding the bastard.
Luckee - I live about 1 3/4 hours North and slightly West of Branson. That area is having its growing pains, and I am afraid they are ruining it. Of course, I remember how beautiful the area was in the early 60's, so their idea of "progress" is not the same as mine.
As far as deer are concerned, there are PLENTY of deer in Missouri! I am kind of spoiled, because if I want to go deer hunting I never have to leave my property. I have a pond of about 3 acres in size, so I don't have to leave my property to go fishing either. I love this place ! Tom <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Re: Howdy - 09/29/06 04:45 AM
3 acre Pond...I would call that a small Lake!
That's exactly what my one Aunt said when she saw it !

Re: Howdy - 09/29/06 05:51 AM
Hell, if I can't cast across it....I call it a lake!
I call it a little bit of Heaven !

Re: Howdy - 09/29/06 02:46 PM
Did you have to stock it..or was it full already?...and what kind of fish are we talking here?
The pond was already stocked when I bought this place. In fact, one of the previous owners used to raise catfish, clean them, and take them to Kansas City to sell.
I now have bass, bluegill, and channel catfish in the pond. I love spending time on my pond !

Re: Howdy - 09/30/06 12:22 AM
Tom, now you are talking...good old fashion fishfry! I love catfish, but from my understanding they are considered crap fish. But this those 3 it can be a fun time!
It's always a fun time - that's why my son likes to come here for a "sanity" break. I even tolerate his outfishing me on my own pond. Of course, I tell him it's not his skill fishing, but rather my skill guiding!
