The Manliest Way to Non-Conceal Carry a Knife

After seeing DMelone's RW sheath that could be carried "Man-Purse" style I decided to try it with my FBM. It worked marvelously and is very comfortable. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I love tinkering with FBM Sheath that RW made for me. It's very modular and I have tons of carrying option.

Anyone else have other ideas of carrying it with out conceal carrying it.

There’s a Medieval European knife the Victorians called a Kidney Dagger. It had a long straight blade. The handle was a straight tube. The guard was two round lobes on either side of the grip. Victorian prudery aside, it was originally called a Bollocks Dagger. It’s supposed to be the ancestor of the Scottish Dirk.

Cocky young knights used to wear it hanging vertically in a low slung sheath, front and center. As an advertisement for manliness, it’s right up there with the codpiece. The advantage is, it’s really hard to defend yourself, or carve your dinner, with a codpiece.

Thank goodness it does not have an edge. One or two smacks in the man sack and you will run no more.

I'll go with in one's teeth like a pirate or sapper.

In this book I read these convicts hid their shanks in the one place a naked man going into the showers can hide it. I forget the books name but Samuel Jackson played a Dad who shot his 10 year old daughters rapists with an AR15 in the court.

I usually just carry basic strong side but I like small of back because of its comfort.

I really don't wear it there ever I just wanted every Scrap Yard knife on me for the picture. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

But the first picture of me with the DFLE and Dog Father is close.. I wear the DFLE and my SS-4 on my left side first belt loop cross draw on a daily basis around town. I even clean our church wearing that set up.
