I had a few free hours this weekend between naps for my 1-year old and my day job. I threw a piece of metal against my HF belt sander and this fell off. It's made of 3/16" A2, as usual with natural canvas micarta slabs:

I'm getting a little faster (but not much better) with practice. I really have alot of respect for all those real knifemakers out there.

Also... I've been thinking of adding a swedge to my DMDC. Has anyone done this? I really think it needs something to break up the flatness of the grind.
