Hopefully something Camp Tramp-ish, e.g., a chopper with a ~7.5" blade.

Re: WHAT'S NEXT ??? - 02/23/07 04:40 PM
I don't know about the rest of you, but holding the DF in my hand sure makes me thirst for more Scrap Yard Knives. I know the DFLE will probably be up next, but I suspect it will cost a little more than I want to spend. And I'm real lazy when it comes to maintaining my knives, so coated blades work just fine for me.
I know Dan said that he plans to produce another run of S6's. But it sure would be nice to have some idea of when they (or whatever the next coated knives might be) will make their appearance. Not only would that whet my appetite for what's next (as if my appetite needs any more whetting ), but it would give me an idea of how much time I have to set aside the resources necessary to pay for them.
Whatcha think, Dan? Besides the DFLE, would you be willing to tell us what you're planning to produce next and when it might arrive (assuming, of course, you've gotten that far)?
Stay tuned, working on it as we speak
Dan

Think about it. I am still waiting for my Dog Father, living in Wisconsin probably Saturday or Monday is a good E.T.A. But Dan through the toughest trial in his life, battling for the very life of his daughter has not only won her back. But has regained control of his personal life, his business life was shipping and processing all the D.F. orders. A shaker or GW style thing (with a bigger front talon please!!) would be good and a bit cheaper..
But 7 inches of INFI (like Bigocean said) gets my vote everytime.

I agree. Maybe something sterile with a $59.00 to $69.00 price point.
i'd say go for a 40" to 50" sr77 blade nodachi sword with a price point of 590 $ ...

You know why I’m in front of a tree? Because I was shooting the photo myself with a tripod. Without something to focus on (a spot on the tree) I wouldn’t know how far in to zoom, and what height to adjust the tripod. Other wise I’d have to find the adjustments through trial and error and take over a dozen pics until I got it right.

We were raised by a mother and father, who taught us not to feel sorry for our selves and to aspire to something higher. Once we had Theresa out of the woods, Patti and I took 2 days to get some sleep and get the family back on track. Theresa is a true Busse, she cried once and was feeling bad about what happened to her...it lasted about an hour and she was over it.
Please don't forget that your thoughts and prayers made a big difference.
On another note; I am thinking about another naming contest, any thoughts
Thanks again for the kind words

Well, we'd need some specs on the knife to come up with some proper names.

That's why you're the man, Dan! About that naming contest, if it is a pure bred fighter, DOG FIGHTER!
Dan you and Patti are good people. Raised by good, and breeding shows! Bet your kids will be something even better! The combination of all! Hope they make knives too! My kids will need knives also.
Remember to name properly we would need a direction for names. IE: Scrapper6 is a 6" blade. The Dog Father is a BEAST... so the next blade will be _ _ " long?
I'm not asking for a definite style of blade just perhaps a length so we could toss out some names appropriate for the size. You agree don't you?
Peace.

How about DogMa. Its a double entendre for Dog Father and religous beliefs.
I am not trying to get holy here or offend anyone, but a lot of us were praying for the Busse Family during there recent family incident.

It also looks like "Dog" and "Ma" as in slang for mother - sort of short for DogMother but with a double meaning.

Actually I prefer the Golden Retriever. I just can't figure out how to turn that into a good name for a sword. But the Shiba has a nice ring to it . . . or at least I think it does.

In all honesty though we may get a golden were not sure. Sienna our yellow lab needs a life partner. So we're looking at possible another lab or maybe a golden. of course it'll have to wait until we get a house and some acreage.

aah I see, it would be hard to make a good name out of Golden Retriever. With that approach I can't think of how the shepard will work but "The Kuzasz" souds good.

The handle design on the DF is more than sufficient. The only way to get a better fit would be to surgically attach it.
