Hike: Pic Heavy !!!!!

Went on one of my more difficult hikes today, set off in rain but finished in sunshine !

The trail was like an obstacle course all the way up !



Here I am blowing like a loco, ya soon warm up on this trail......



At last a level section, I have been training Snicker ( T.T ) to return when I blow my Jet Scream whistle........



The level section didn't last long, here are two more examples of how gnarly the trail is........





Incase ya wondering what knife I took it was my Swampwarden, I tried to travel light today......



Near the top I bumped into these pretty girls, well actually it was T.T who decided to jump all over them ! They didn't know what a Scandi Grind was and had never heard of Horace Kephart so I went on my way !!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

We soon arrived at the highest spot, TT got there first !



At the top there is this large body of water, here is a pic I took of the reflection in the water......



This was where I stopped to drink my tea. While having my tea I noticed these guys swimming around in the water, they are either Newts or Salamanders.....



Maisy is looking a little tired in this pic, she ain't getting any younger bless her.....



TT could have done the walk twice over....



By now the sun had come out and so the wool shirt had to come off......

Beautiful country and pictures, pitman. Kephart aside, a few closer shots of the pretty girls would be fine with me. Beauty is beauty. It's not like you went to that gay mountain seed talks about, is it?

I am with Vic on this. I am happily married with a GREAT wife who is a great friend and very attractive to me.

And while I am not looking "FOR" anything, I also agree beauty is beauty. And while some try to deny themselves certain beauties in the world. I like to "View it as Good Scenery"!!!! And I can NEVER get enough "Good Scenery"! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
