1st time fishing with the boy...

My 3 1/2 yr old...Alejandro. He is a sweet and happy boy. He was excited to get out! My better 1/2 is back there with our pooch. Come to think about it, they are both my better 1/2!




We are a trying. The timing was off, so I couldn't grap some worms. Just threw a little rubber worm around. Almost got a couple. Alejo doesn't get the difference between "going fishing" and "catching fish"! Knife on the hip is my howler rat...that and clippers...all ya need...especially to catch nothing! hah!



It's a nice little wild trout stream close by.



So these 2 on the way out. My little guy is afraid of them but spent all week looking for crocodiles in the stream. Yes, in Connecticut...he cracks me up!

A little off topic, but I had a knife! Hope ya all had a good w/e!

1/2 the time was spent keeping him away from the "sharp" hooks!

Looks like fun. I took my boyrs fishing several months ago and I know what you mean by going fishing vs. catching fish. They were in to casting as far as they could, messing around with the bait, throwing rocks in the water etc... Good time to spend with the family either way.

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. It is at this age when I really started remembering the adventures out with my dad. Great times for sure!
