S5-infi piggybacked

S5-infi piggybacked - 02/27/10 03:02 AM

Decided to piggyback the INFI on my Golok. Didnt have to take the belt clip loose.
Made a spacer that was the same thickness as the clip. Put a hole in the bottom
of the sheath used a 8-32 bolt, 1.25 long with the spacer.
Used the existing hole for the other bolt.
Made the sheath for the HG-55 last week. Posted pics on Busse blade forum site.
Jerry seen the pics and posted some very cool feedback on the 55.
Oh, i made the sheath for the S5-infi too.
Hope yall like it.

This is great!

I hadn't thought about piggybacking my S5CG to my DF, but it would clear up some belt room (and my SpecOps Combat Master sheath).

I weighted it on my wifes postal scale. 2pds 2oz. The NMSFNO with sheath
weighted in at 1pd 13oz. ( Sheath was a Steel Nut Kydex very nice.)

I used a heat treat oven at 295 or 300 for 3 or 4 minutes the Kydex will tell you when its ready. It will be really flexible.
