The wrapper paper is very thin and difficult to cut period. But Fuzzys are nuts!

Kinda odd. I've always received the shipping notice either AFTER or the same day I received the knife. I was really expecting to get my knives on Thursday, the same day I got the notice. I know they have mentioned that the priority was actually shipping them and then notifying us that they shipped. I always preferred that, but I can understand the need for some people to make plans on being home to get it.

One with it's older cousins, One in the hand. I buy extra large gloves and can get all four fingers on.
It's definitely thin and light. Chisel end is finished nice, not sharp enough to cut but not blunt. Not sure what I will use that end for but when I need it it is there.

Maybe that would be a good thread, Real life uses for the scrapivore chisel/prybar

So Jeff, when you EDC the Swamp Warden do you use a pocket sheath or a clip on or something else?

Got a Lefty and Righty arriving this week! I want to do a wrap but it is so pretty all by its self. Gonna have to play around with them awhile.

I just carry it in a simple Tan Kydex necker sheath around my neck, nothing special.

I'm hoping Jeff can comment on doing a "leather-wrap" for these little guys! I want it...what say ye, Mr. Rainwalker? I'm thinking two pieces of leather, stitched by hand in the middle (at the cavity) on both sides. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I like to leave the inner threads in for myself. The main purpose for me is to make the grip larger. Plus if I'm ever in a situation where I need the innards.

But that's why there are so many different knives also, were all different.

Here's a little pocket pouch I came up with. With a hole at the top and some paracord it would work as a necker also.


Pics need improvement but you get the idea. It carries in a front pocket pretty well.

I cant take a pic. My hands are covered in cosmoline, or something like it. What is it? This is the first satin SR101 knife for me. It looks like a great little knife. I was scared of rust before it arrived and I am really nervous now. It has been between 0-15 degrees this week and the humidity is still 50-75%. I might have to send these back south to someone and wait for the CG. What do you guys think?

I've been thinking the same thing. As a necker under my shirt on a hot day with a cord wrap would be a disaster. Thinking of selling my LE when the CG comes out.
This thing has me thinking rust city as a necker. A cord wrap doesn't sound like a good idea to me. What say you guys.

Just threw this together today, a neck/pocket leather sheath, I had an idea to use a button snap as a stop pin/ tension tightener, it ended up working very well

First let me just come out and say that the Scrapavore is easily my new favorite knife. Very impressed with the quality and professionalism behind Scarp Yard, they have easily found themselves a new fan-boy. I have no doubt in my mind that i'll be picking up alot more scrapyards in the future.

Now to my question, would anyone happen to know if the sharpshooter/ksf leather spine-lok sheath would fit the scrapavore?

It was made for the bravo necker/izula. But looking at pictures of the izula and scrapavore side by side, the blades look to be the same size(including the finger guard on the izula).

the scrapivore doesnt "lock" into my izula sheath. i dont feel comfortable carrying it in it. im gonna have a sheath made for it

IWB with the rubber strap
Large tec-loc belt carry
small tec-loc belt carry
neck carry
pocket carry, the hook catches on the pocket.

lastly you can bolt them to an existing sheath

My sharpshooter sheath finally came and it fits the Scrapavore fairly nicely. Locks into place when it is snapped in, put a bit of foam at the bottom of the sheath cause it was slightly moving vertically(didnt effect the lock up).

Ill take some pictures and post them up later.
