Scrap Yard Muk Re-release

So...anyone care to guess if the Muk will be re-released? The site said the LE would never be offered again, but does that preclude a satin, double cut, bead blasted or other finish release? Would love to see one again, having missed it the first go around, not having been able to shell out the bucks for the Busse Muk and not having heard any rumors of a Swamp Muk any time soon.

I'd be interested in one. It is unfortunate that once a release is gone it's gone, the way the yard is growing memberwise it would help all who missed one for whatever reason. I'm just saying.

The Limited Edition sold out sooooo fast it came off the "Place Order" page at SYKC website I felt the breeze in Wisconsin! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

A SR-77 Scrap Yard Muk,or even in some stolen S-7 from the Rat pile would be only the second re-release ever by Scrap Yard of a Limited Edition. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

The Dog Mutt is the only one I can think of that was sold to through the website here.
The DFCG was back to back like MANY other knives. The Mutt however was redone many times since it first hit the site for sale.

The Yard Muk in Combat Grade were it EVER released again would join a

It would need such high production numbers to meet customers orders

from a business standpoint it would only make sense... the knife is already designed, and they could throw the "R&D" money into making a higher number, thus saving on each knife. even if they didnt pass the savings onto the customer, people would scoop them up like candy. I went to BF Busse sales forum after been guided by Private Klink. I like the SY Muk better but I would buy a Busse if I could afford one.

Since I got my HOG Muk! a re-release doesn't interest me quite so much. There is still room in my collection for a 6"-7" Scrap Muk though.

I'd really Love to have a Scrap Muk. I don't have a muk of any brand. I was going to ask someone to proxy for one for me at blade, but knowing how coveted they are and the limited numbers I had doubted i'd have a chance to get one. I too missed out on the Muk but since discovering SY I've picked up at least one of every offering. I would go for a Muk from the Yard definitely, probably two as I don't have any Muks from elsewhere.

I think that I'd like to see the rest of the 11 line out first though, then the Muk could be a quick re-release before the next lot of new knives come online.

An affordable Yard Muk would be a great way for me to introduce quality knives to a couple of my favorite hunting buddies.

2011 forced me to sell my Busse Muk. For 2012, anything in 154CM from the yard be it muk, weiner, or bird would be welcome. A 411 would be great in 154CM as well.

154cm is one of my favourites too but I think it would be better to have the new series made of for example the SR101 so that the new knives would be different than the first run.

And as said before I trust Dan to make the right choise of steel. All that matters is the brand. I want a SY Muk - actually two.

Working knife is a big thing but what also counts is what is behind the blade. I value and respect the SY company. Also you my fellow Dogs make the SY knives more valuable than just the price I've paid for the knife.
