What is that handle material on the 311&711? It looks very interesting, I hope it's res-c as most slab material is to big for my hands.

I would assume the swamp's 3" would be under $100, considering it uses less materials than the RS. My guess is around $89~99. My guess is the 911 will be priced similarly to the M9 (around about $189?) and the SYKCO 911 will be comparable to the DF at around $129. Just my thoughts. Obviously I am not an employee and have no say over pricing, but I think these are reasonable ballpark estimates.

Wow that 911 is sweet.

I just talked to Vox he said the 711 feels great. But its a love it or hate it. The way he described it it sounds like a winner in Canavs Micarta. Those are Black Paper.

I've been liking the Swamps bomb proof scales, but unsure of that 711 bottom gaurd. The SYKCO's may be the ones for me.

I like the new 711 handle and the downward fingerguard but the SYKCO 911 blade is a winner.

I like the SY blade in the thread but the Swamp scales and reversed bottom does nothing for me. I want to see the Hawk.

Hello my Dutch friend! Yes I read that as well. It is possible though if not much grinding is required on it. For the most part is seems a fairly straightforward design, as far as requiring a lot of compound grinds.

Got all those did ya? And I see the War Hawk lurking off on the left. MB said he got a MUK CG and one of the M9s with black blade and blk/red handle.

What are the specs on the SYKCO 911?

Well that 911 sure looks like it just might be adequate enough to fill my Scrapyard Chopper slot. I was trying to determine what the blade thickness will be; anybody know? If the info is out there, I'm missing it.

I asked people that went to Blade and they said they don't know the exact specs, but that it was thinner than the CGDF...which is fine by me! I want lighter and faster

Just joined here. I've been looking for a large chopper/splitter for camping. I want a knife I can bet my life on not to break. I wanted the dogfather originally but the price is a bit too much now days. Then I thought about a trail master but I'd rather buy the toughest I can get.
