I would like to see it with a regulator handle. It may not be better but I would like to hold one myself to see.

Curious to see if the other 11 models are just going to be smaller versions of the 911.

Is it just the pic, or does it look like that handle has a little more of a downward curve to it than the usual ones?

That thing is a beast. I really like it.

If you look at the list of knives Mr. Busse put up on BladeForum he had the SY knives going from 3 to 9 on the 11 series and the Swamp knives listed from 9 to 3. It has been hinted that the next Swamp blade will be a big'n so what do you want to bet that this is the release order for the two different lines?

I hope to see a chopper from either the yard or the swamp.

Very interesting blade. Kinda like a M9, B11, and DFLE were all thrown into a mixer and this is what came out.................do I need it, probably not since I have a DF, DFLE, M9LE, and B11, but I do want one!

I love what looks like a secondary handle up near the head and what appears to be a sharpened top that looks like it could be used like an ulu or some bark-stripping or fleshing tool. It definitely has that "wow!" factor and appears to be something incredibly useful to boot!

GAH! I'm really going to have to be a cheapass during my vacation, if I want to get tires on the truck AND get in on some of these when they hit the store... I need a second job!

I think I will pretty much get a 911 and a hawk. Hawk is priority though.

I'm going to lay low on the Hawk for a bit, I'm hoping Dan releases one from the Yard with Res-C handles. 911 is top top top of my list though, I've been in the market for a chopper pretty much since I got here, and I really would like to pick up a couple for retail price. One is going to be a project knife for sure, I've had a project on hold with Jeff Forbush for months now until I could get a chopper. The other will be a serious abuser for the woods, probably replace my hatchet <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I'm not sure what the number name is for it, but the mudder gripped blade (looks about 4") from the other threads is going to be a must have. I've already got a mud puppy, so the really short offering in the 11 series doesn't really pique my interest. The new Reg handle offering caught my eye too, so I might have to pick one of those up.

Top that off with 9 pre-orders of video games coming out this fall at Gamestop, and I'm pretty much broke until winter.

Well, you can always hit the first dead center in his chest then spin around and lop off his head with one swipe. Then you take two good steps and with both hands you throw that sucker right into the middle of the other ones forehead. That's when you break out the Waki and finish off the other two!

I am not sure about the grind, but being a hawk by nature it should have a convex. If already convexed then strop should do fine for maintenance and a round stone for sharpening.

I sure do like that Yard & Rat 911's and that Hawk is awesome. I wish the Hawk had a chiseled prybar end like the Crash Rat.

The new knives look awesome i cant wait to get my hands on one or two. The one i want the most is the Scrapyard 9-11 or should i say the dog sister.

I first came on board here around the time of the scrapper 5 and have been waiting patiently for a massive tree killer such as the 911 and it looks like my wishes have come true! Just could not bring myself to pay grey market price on a Dogfather. I CANNOT wait for this one.

That blade looks longer than 9", but of course, I can't really tell from a photo. Looks like a fine blade for those that missed the Dog Father.
