Nice pics. I'm curious about the drag marks. What sort of critter made those?

Thanks guys, it was VERY hot the first day but then a cold front came through and gave it the coldest start to summer here in years..!!!

The drag marks are snake(s). They are in the shed behind the house. The set across the track are over the top of my tracks the night before. It will be either a Red Belly Black or a Brown snake (we have seen both Western Browns and Easter or Common Browns here at different times).

I put my money on it being an Echidna.

...and you would win... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> never seen one out there before but there I was sitting swilling a beer on the front verandah and he just walked out from under the house. He refused to adopt any position other than the defensive posture you see while I was within seeing distance... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
