WS-221 warranty - 03/25/21 01:14 PM

Voided smile

At least the handle part wink but I knew it going in.

Watch out Grinducci. LOL.

To start off with I really like the handles on the WS-221 and all the other knives that use it, Basic 4, War dog and so on.
but this short bladed knife was screaming for a modification.

It may just be the artist in me wanting balance and proportion.

It fits my giant hands just fine, I can get three fingers on it pretty well.

Normal folks may be able to get 4 smile

What do you think ? warranty

Does that mean that the hidden tang doesn't go all the way to lanyard hole? I got mine shipped but since I am in Europe it'll be some time...

I always thought the hole was drilled through the tang, I guess not.

I like the mod though...

The tang does go all the way through the handle to the tube.
I ground the tang down to the back of my mod rather than have it hanging out.
I would have loved to put a tube back in but I could not drill through the tang, so I just ground it even.

The tang does go all the way back and the tube is fixed through the tang... Dave is just creative and artistic...not sure how he plans on keeping the handle on the blade smile

So the Dogs know...warranty is void with mod's

That handle is stuck on there smile (I tried pulling it off, and I could not)

Knew the handle warranty was voided before I started, I have used them from the start so even though the warranty is the best there is in the biz. I knew I would never have to have a claim as these blades are the toughest in the land.
