woods bag - 12/08/09 12:13 AM

Cashed in my penny jar and picked up a Maxpedition Active Shooter Bag in OD. Loaded it up with woods bumming stuff. A GI canteen , cup, burner fits perfectly in the main compartment.

mag pouches full of goodies:

small fixed blade is a from Bladeforums own Munky88. The knife model is the Fugly, despite the name its WICKED sharp.

smaller middle pocket, with pouch of paracord, Peli 1010 case full of Esbit tabs, and a container of sugary tea mix

canteen, cup, stove, gloves, saw, etc

Grimlocks on each end for securing gear lanyards. (modeled by the GF)

Handley Bladesmith TAC EDC locked to the shoulder strap for rapid access.

its a great bag, just the right size for grabbing for a quick woods walk or dayhike. As well once i'm home the contents get swapped out for EDC kit.

Nice looking setup there Bushman5. I've been thinking about ordering one of Maxpedition's new messenger bags. They look pretty nice.

I was looking at either the Gleneagle or the Larkspur messenger bag. The Active shooter bag might be a little too small for my needs.

That is a really cool looking bag Bushman.
Of course your lady is the class of class!!!
How big is the bush bag?
I've got a Maxpedition VersiPak Jumbo. Is there much difference
in size between them?

Say hi to your best half for me my friend.
Cheers
