I guess this is all semantics.

The Axe Hammer feels just like the SJTAC in the hand. This means its a little flat and boxy feeling, but light. However, it doesn't feel particularly "quick".

I think the SJTAC line wasn't overly popular because it lacks the refinement of the other Busse offerings of similar size. The Axe Hammer, like the standard SJTACs, ETS SJTACs, and SFM-1 SJTACs I've owned are basic in their design. They don't compare to an ASH, SFNO, etc.

I'm keeping mine, but you won't see a picture like above (four of one basic design) from me. Having a good sheath included is a nice feature of the AXE.
