so Rich you mean yours doesn't even have any tiny little "swirly" scratches from being sharpened?

What was the edge like on ya'lls Scrapper? Mine is not impressive, will barely cut paper. I might have got a dud though.
The first one i got online from some bastid who actually got to go to the Blade show cut paper right out of the box. the new one won't, and is noticably thicker, more of a chopping edge. I was able to get the first one sharp enough to pop hairs, but the new one, i think is just to thick to get that sharp without reprofiling it -- also do you have the convex or the zero edge? That might make a difference... Does anyone have both?

Mine came from SYKCO yesterday. Mine like yours has a super fat edge that looks like it would need serious reprofiling to get any kind of cutting edge on it.

Mine will barely slice paper, unlike my first BattleRat. However, I am VERY pleased with the knife.

not to worry fellow14 -- just a little love, and she'll be poppin' hairs, if you want it as a slicer -- i had to work on mine a bit, but it seems that some of them are profiled for chopping -- which indeed seems more consistent with res-c and S7...

If you look at the pics you can see that it looks like they just barely uncovered the steel. I had to scrape the last bit of crinkle coating off the very tip. I'm just trying to figure out if it is just mine or if this is what they considered the ideal edge from the company. Keep in mind that the pic of the tip is only the first inch or so.

I just got mine, and no logo. Being the first knive in the line i wanted the logo. I wish they would have stated on the web-site that it does not have the logo.

You and me both mate. I guess I thought I would get what was pictured. Although my reason is kind of silly. I have a pit and just thought it was neat that a knife company had a pissed off pit as their logo.

I wanted the logo only becuse it is the firt knive in this Co line. It kind of makes me mad that they dont state that it does not have the logo... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

Hmm, some of these comments about poor finishing and no logos are a little disapointing, especially for the very first knife offered. I hope mine comes with a logo and a decent grind, I held off a Ontario RAT because of some of their quality control issues.
