Tips with the Skinner in the center. The tapered blade is the WInkler... The Skinner will be off to my nephew in Japan for his birthday. We'll see if it's tough enough for a Marine!! No, the Winkler is a little thicker at it's thickest point, but has a tapered tang and distal taper. I was checking out the edge on the Skinner and am surprised it's thinner behind the edge than I thought...close to the Howling Rat. Came with a great edge too.
