Thanks Skunk, I'll have to check them out. Are they long clips or the shorter ones?

Shorter ones for mine. Would be best to ask him to make sure e does have a clip for yours. I got mine for the 15 and mini 15.

that's what I was thinking of getting one for is the mini 15. What is the real difference between the stock clip and this? Is it just a deeper carry?

The deep carry only shows maybe1/8 inch or less sticking out.

Having a Spyderco resurgence lately...all are solid folders.

I’ve really liked carrying the ZT0303 recently.

I carried a ZT301 for a while. I've actually found a small fixed blade more comfortable (because its on my belt instead of hanging in a pocket).

However, I'm unwanted in this thread because I too often question expensive folders. Folding knives are the one place in the entire gun / knife / gear sphere that I simply do not spend heavily. My current folder is a PM2, and I don't even like to use it. I'm half-heartedly looking for a cheap (sub $30) folder to use for daily life stuff. All it has to be is super sharp and lightweight.

Rich,
Spydercos are my favorite folders. They are a great balance of cost to performance. I've yet to receive one that wasn't scary sharp or easy to resharpen.

Hey, I think I have a Delica4 some where .... that would be perfect for my "cheaper user" folder needs.

I'm off to dig around in my pack.

NOT TRUE! Expensive folders aren't "Your thing" so what. I wouldn't pay $150 for a pair of boots. That doesn't make me Unwanted anywhere that I know of, just that I'm not into that stuff. Heck If I have to pay 30 bucks for a set of jeans I don't buy them!

I'm not cheap, just frugal. grin

Rich, you DO realize you can get almost a 50 percent discount from Spyderco by joining their OPFOCUS program right.

https://www.spyderco.com/resources/op-focus/

It is a restricted program, but you will qualify. Just read what I linked to above and set yourself up.

I found out my wife’s cousin works for Hinderer knives and after playing with her XM-18 I really want an XM-24 with a spanto or skinner blade.
