Oh, how I wish I could make it up there to the get together. Sounds like it is going to be a heck of a time. After being out mowing several ball fields today in 100+ degree the thought of a relaxing time is soothing.
Be sure t take plenty of pics and give some write ups.

I'm thinking of the outskirts of HOPE, BC. Plenty of logging roads with camping spots, millions of shrubs and trees to chop on (and they grow like weeds, so dont feel guilty!), plenty of cold fresh water to chill the bevvies, and tons of wood for fires!

When are you thinking of doing this?
I'd be interested if it's on a weekend or something like that.
Used up my holidays for my trip to Newfoundland, so it would
have to be on a long weekend maybe.

Cheers definitely a weekend! hopefully a long weekend! maybe end of august? problem with that though is everyone and their kin will out in hordes....I drove 34KM last year up Silver and it was packed further past that....

it's likely that i'm heading up that way to do some fishing in september. if things line up, i would stop in for a day at least. i think i'm closer to your proposed site than many on the bc list!
