OP Horn Dog Junk Yard Dog Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 14,586 Georgia	It came in yesterday just as I was leaving for town. Today I opened the box and admired it. It feels a lot like the DFLE in hand. It fits the 10" nylon sheath well enough. It also fits several other sheaths I have. The knife reminds me of my old trusty (and rusty) Ontario Survival Bowie. The 911 is just a bit heavier and slightly more of a blade heavy feel. I am guessing the full flat grind and taper of the blade on the Ontario makes it lighter. The 911 came with a decent even edge (thanks Mike). The mosquitos are hell today. I'll wait for a cooler day once I get the 1311, and do a good comparison. I was thinking of comparing it to the M9LE, but what would that prove? Only that my M9LE is a little sharper. The one I am really looking forward to giving a workout is the awesome 1311....or Scrapchete. I have many knives similar to the 911, but nothing like the 1311 except machetes and goloks. A 13.5" blade is longer than the BRKT golok, longer than my custom parang, longer than my kukris. This thing is going to be awesome. Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
