Took my 411 out for a swim today on my kayak I was great except when the wind really kicked up on the 1.5 mile wide open spot. lol

It was a blast I am glad I got into kayaking, it's much better than canoeing IMHO.
Don't worry ray it was teklocked to the rope lol I keep my dogs on a leash.

A few years ago, a couple of my friends and i took some whitewater kayaking instruction classes and kayaked in Western Maryland on the Savage River and in Western Pa on the Youghiogheny. It was intense. I wasn't very good so it could be a little scary. I think flat water kayaking is where it's at.

we have some milder rapids in my area that are just enough to make it interesting but my favorite parts are the nice calm parts just paddling along enjoying the scenery. If you go about 35 miles south they have some class 3 and 4 rapids that will put a hurting on you.
