45 Goodness - 02/04/12 01:13 AM

Received my anorexic B4 today and thought I would share with you my 45s. Very pleased with its feel and came nice and sharp. Thanks Beef! I look forward to putting them to good use.

A buddy of mine had a knife made by a mutual friend and needed a sheath. So this is what I came up with and included a ferro rod.Happy birthday to Mike.

YOWZA! Looking good, Hooker...looking good!

Is that a MK23? Grip looks different than the HK's I remember..but it's been awhile since I've followed their designs.

The two H&Ks are a HK45 and an HK45 Compact. they were designed to compete in the SOCOM trials, that never were completed.

Re: 45 Goodness - 02/05/12 07:18 PM

I totally agree, RN. Thin is in around my house now. I still like a thick blade for my choppers, though.

Re: 45 Goodness - 02/05/12 08:24 PM

agreed. I mean honestly why do you need such a small blade to be even as thick as the anorexics? In my oppinion its just unnecessary weight.
