How is the balance of the LBTG?

Klink a couple quick questions:

1) What are those color combos
2) The top picture makes one look much bigger, there the same right
3) Whats the blade height
4) whats the actual weight of these

Aside from the weight difference, do you see any other differences between the regular TG and the LBTG?

Nice buys. Did the KZ come from the custom shop or person to person buy. didn't know if you could order a KZ or not.

Looks like both are tanker grey--one with tan micarta and the other with black. KZ is tanker with tan and black G10 grips, if I'm not mistaken. KZ is a proto...you need to strip and satin-ize that sassy vixen <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

According to my Harbor Freight digital scale, the weights are:

TGLB = 15.8 ozs.

TG = 19.75 ozs.

That's an amazing weight savings!

The weight reduction means a LOT if you are carrying it for an extended time, such as hiking! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I bet it's amazingly quick in the hand. Probably not quite as useful for chopping or heavy use, but better all-around

Nice PK! Mine has been sitting at the PO along with my bear cub; I haven't been able to pick em up yet . I'll be grabbing them today if all goes to plan and I get outta work with enough time.

Do you think the edge is robust enough for hard use with the hollow grind? I really can't wait to hear some user reports.

That is a nice weight savings, although I've never been one to worry about weight too much though...
