Other than BLADE...

Other than BLADE does Busse-kin do any other knife shows through out the year. For example the Plaza Cutlery Knife show.

I'm new to busse/busse kin, and have never been to a show, but it is my understanding that they do a handful of shows, to include Knob creek. Which is very soon if I'm not mistaken.

Yea I heard of that one too. They are just so far from me. I'm all the way in Southern California. The furthest I go as an excuse for my GF would be Texas cause I have family there. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, I'm in New York and most are far by my standard. I think knob creek is in Pennsylvania, that's probably the only one I could swing.

KNOB CREEK is in Kentucky! I just moved to NY

Im just south of Watertown NY. Its not the same as southern Ohio thats for sure!

I hear it gets cold over there, I was commented on for a few years when I moved to California from Texas about my southern draw, lol.

Its not cold yet. But i have heard alot about deep snow and cold temps

Other than Blade show in Atlanta, Busse goes to Knob Creek in Kentucky and sometimes a show in Easton, Pennsylvania. (Good reason to go to Sarco Co. for gun parts! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />)

The Easton show is this weekend. I'd go if Busse was there but I don't think they are on the list.

Basically, they don't do many shows. If they upped the pressure a bit and booked two shows a month they would see a dramatic rise in exposure, perhaps so much that they'd not be able to keep up with demand. Believe it or not, a bunch of folks have never heard of any of these fine blades. I guess it just depends on how much marketing effort you'd like to render.

I think they are doing fine the way it is. More for us.

Jefferson County, what in heaven's name got you up there? Are you in the military?
I grew up there, beautiful area but the economy was terrible when I lived there, things seem better now with the 10th.
The weather can be pretty bad with lake effect snow between Watertown and Central Square, although the last few winters have been mild.
