He's going to post pics + prices of whatever is going to be for sale during the Ganza in a few days and then we wait to see when we're able to try and order, right? I'm assuming it's a very small number of blades for sale compared to how many people will try to purchase. Kinda of neat but kind of odd system.. I'm really interested to see what the Swamp Rat n Scrapyard offerings will be.

Nope close but no. A few day there will be date time and place along with pics and prices and item number. Then we wait. Make your email up with what you want and pre address it to the right address. Then you wait for Jerry Busse to post go on BF. make sure you pay attention to the time frame Jerry's post he will not change. There are a few fake Jerry Busse post and fake goes so make sure it's Jerry Busse himself that posts go. Then when Jerry says go you send your email and wait to see if you scored. Don't send your email before he says go because you are DQed

Is it wrong that I'm more interested in the Dog and Rat offerings. I guess it's because I already have the NMFSHLE. Depending on what comes out, I may or may not be interested in the mojo.

Ganza offerings are not what you see in stores. You will often but not always see tan, satin, special grinds and finishes, and cool exotic handle

Steeley, it'll be the El Muk that Dan keeps chiming in with (hope hope).

Lifelike, the prices are usually comparable to the store, at least for the Yard. If the Swamp or Busse does some special custom one-offs, the prices reflect the custom work too. But camo 911s are usually the same price as the regular ones. Tan 411s would probably also be the same. Sometimes you get discounts--the Cupidvores, for instance, were offered $10 less than the regular Scrapivores at the Cupidganza. But you sometimes get some really cool stuff that comes out in Ganzas that doesn't hit the stores (although some of it might also be at some of the shows). Remember, these guys are knife makers and like to experiment with different designs. Not everything can make it into regular production--just not economical.

Cost is on par with normal store costing BUT what gets offered is generally NOT available in the stores, like the various Tan Dogs and RMD variations that have cropped up.

Comes down to we all had to ask senior guys around here to find out what we needed to know. The ganza is a lot of fun and really easy.

But like was said...

1. AFTER viewing the pictures of the Ganza offerings, draft you up an email with the model, Item number, (price I THINK) and how many you want. MAKE SURE YOU ADDRESS THE MESSAGE TO THE CORRECT ADDRESSES!
2. List any other information that Jerry might say is needed or "Good to have"
3. Follow ALL Jerry's directions. DON'T JUMP THE GUN! Jerry will not start before the time he specifies.
4. Watch out CLOSELY for FAKE Jerry's and go posts.
5. Read Jerry's directions for the Ganza, read them again and TRIPLE check.

Actually it really isn't that hard, just tricky at times with all the fake go posts.

6. Then you wait for notification letting you know if you got anything or not.

Are people thinking there will only be one color option available for the CGNMFSH? I want muddy brown with tan canvas myself...

Usually is just one or a select few. You can't choose like you do when you order from the store.

The best way is to go ahead and send your email about 10 mins before the ganza starts <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> that way you are first.

And sometimes Jerry is tricky and will post under a Jerry name that isnt red so send it if you see that too.
