5 Star Steak Cutter - 02/08/14 10:39 AM
OK, say you are at a Five Star Restaurant, and the knife they bring you is duller than a butter knife. You have access to ANY SYKCO blade (hey we're playing pretend here). You whip your blade out of the sheath on your belt or out of your pocket. And of course, any folder is permissible as well.
WHICH SY product would you use, and remember you are at a five star (Pinko commie liberal) restaurant. Do you worry about the "Sheeple" or say what the heck and whip out your 1311 and start slicing that T-Bone?

GFJ, how would you keep from scaring the Sheeple, or how would you justify the evil gutting blade to them?
OR, would you just tell them to Shovel it.

I think my 1311 would be perfect for the task. Along with clearing out the area from around the table.

Elmax 460; does an outstanding job and wouldn't get me thrown out of the restaurant!

Greaser, that's almost like cheating. Doesn't look all that different from a lot of steak knives.

Skunk, I love these Steak knives so much it hurts. I can't wait to process some deer with them this fall. I guess if I was limited to only SYKCO knives for cutting steak, one of these ought to getrdone'…….

Should also help clear up any mistakes that may come up on the bill. That was a free steak right?

1311...
Will chop up the cow, chop up the furniture to make the fire to cook the cow, clear the surroundings to do the 2 previous things, cut up the steaks, and help to convince staff and other diners to be quiet about it...

I've also a few times used my minigrip to cut a steak when the "Table knife" was one that wouldn't cut as well as a plastic serrated knife.

Re: 5 Star Steak Cutter - 02/10/14 03:08 AM
So I have never been to a Five Star steak house that didn't have nice knives (el gaucho, Morton's, Ruth Chris, Ringside, to name a few) and I don't know if they were pinko commie or not? Even the ones in Texas and Arizona seemed right. Left, right if they don't have a sharp knife I won't go back.
That being said in dream land it take the Scrap Muk, and the Ruger 357 is OC!

Re: 5 Star Steak Cutter - 02/10/14 05:36 AM
Seth, you wouldn't need the Ruger .357...the beef is already dead!

Not the way I like to eat it. Run the cow by me, I'll kill it, then just sear it to make sure it doesn't moo!

So what you're saying is that in YOUR restaurant the 1311 IS your steak knives?

Oh and the Pinko Commie remark was just for a little color. I don't care WHAT they are as long as they got good steak. I am TOTALLY Non-partisan when it comes to good steaks.
