Old logo

My fellow Dogs, with Scrap Yard returning to its original business model, who would like to see the return of the old logo? Perhaps if Dan heard from enough of us he might consider that action. So, SOUND OFF!

Welllllll since he is going to a new plan (ok, a revisited OLD plan) how about the Old logo, but with one ear up and one down. Shows a tie to the original plan but also a change.

The Rob Stanley Hell Hound is pretty sweet. With the 11 series going away a new dog should emerge...A Big Bad Monster of a Beast Dog...or a scrap poodle...

The Original Logo was Perfect and said Scrap Yard to me even if there was no wording attached! I still like it MUCH MUCH better!

Let's face it though, Jerry has invested a lot into the three matching brand logos. I seriously doubt that it's gunna change back...

Oh, and Rob did a great job on the new logos, but the original was already great to begin with.

What's the old business model like ? Or do I dare ask lol. I kinda like the store front option. My take on this is we will be notified when a new blade is coming and when it will be released. Then it will be up for X amount of time or until sold out ? That sounds like a race ? I'm in lol.

Old Logo for me as well. Has there ever been an "ears down" logo? My oldest knives, the Mud Puppy LE and Bird Dog are from 2008 according to Randy's specs. thread. And there all ears up.

I prefer the old logo myself. It just has a classic appeal.

With that said Rob's work is great for modern marketing.


I think if I was up to me I'd keep two blades (small and large) regularly available under the xx11 marketing model and reintroduce the one time limited edition "classic" offerings using the older business model. Win, win...

I hope so too. I was kind of sad when i scuffed the logo on my regulator.(my first scrapyard) But that's what happens to a well used knife..
