I forgot to mention that Jerry started a pre-order list for the new Ash-2, hopefully ready in a few months. He said the Ash-1 Combat Grade will be next. I got on the list, but forgot to take a pic of the Ash-2.

Thanks Ray. It really is a great time, like a big family reunion but without the fight. Every knife person should make it to Blade at least once in their life.
In the booth across from Justin Gingrich there were two ladies looking serious, so I walked over and teased them into smiling. The boss lady noticed my Busse hat and commented on Busse renting out Jocks n Jills for their employees only and not the public. I explained that I'm a customer, not an employee, and the party was for Busse customers. I told them about the contests, prizes,etc. and they were amazed. When I told them how well Busse treats their customers the boss lady said that she will have to check them out next year!

Seems like this year was more about the people having fun hanging out with each other and a little less about the knives. That's pretty cool. It is neat to see how every Blade show is unique in and of itself from the previous ones. Someday I wish to go back.

No mention of a Ganza, but I COULD be talked into selling the two that I bought! But only one per Dog.

Pit, I actually returned that Bowie to Justin because of a couple minor variances from what I expected. He made a new Bowie for me to replace it. I felt kind of guilty for putting him through the extra work, so we agreed on a price and I bought it. Now I have an ALMOST matched set of Bowies with the desert ironwood handles, and the one with the black and red G-10 handle. I love my Bowies!!!

I've been hanging out on the custom and handmade forum on BF lately and there are crazy cool bowies there. Loving them!

Thank for posting all the great pics Tom! I think I may have a chance of going in 2017...I hope so at least!

The bowie is amazing but I was actually talking about the small knife, that is the kind of size and shape that I'd get lots of use from !

I had a great time. Well, except after devouring that cigar. Phew, I felt horrible

But on the other hand, it did earn me a 500 dollar shop credit.
And with the other 300 dollar shop credit for the 80'ies thing, I was good to go

Once I am home from Thailand, I will post some pics of my scores getting a good beating
