It feels really good but also I have been carrying this blade for a year now so i'm use to it. Accessing is a bit difficult in the beginning due to size. It took me about 2 weeks to get use to the blade. The knife works well for me and for what I need from it.

I have been known to shove this in my pocket
And this is my "House" knife. It stays clipped in the pocket of my knee length "Gym" shorts or sweats that I wear around the house.

Re: SHOW YOUR EDC. - 08/28/15 07:27 AM
And I have carried this a few times. All the "Other Knives" are in addition to the Karambit.

Re: SHOW YOUR EDC. - 08/28/15 08:00 AM
This, virtually everywhere I go (Where I CAN carry it).
Of course I would NEVER carry it into say a hospital, or a theater or a store that has that cute little no firearms sign.
Yee Haw!
Actually mine has the activation button on the the front strap.

So Today after work we will be heading over the the "Kids" house. We cut down a 50ft tree yesterday and started cutting it up into more manageable pieces. Today I will be carrying my LC9, Emerson Combat Karambit and my Cheaper Ontario Rat 2 3 inch folder.
Oh fun fun.

Any SYKCO knives involved in the tree disposal?
Nope, drove the Jeep and I've forgotten to put a knife in there yet!

Re: SHOW YOUR EDC. - 08/29/15 05:09 PM
I'm a chef, so I'm literally surrounded by knives every day, no need to have a 7" fixed blade in my pocket...
I do wish I could carry my LC9 with me,, DC has the strictest gun laws and at the same time the highest crime rates, go figure!

Re: SHOW YOUR EDC. - 08/30/15 12:51 PM
In case anyone is questioning his EDC
"South Africa is known to have one of the highest crime rate per 100,000 residents in the world regarding assault, rape and murder. Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban are ranked usually as critical crime thread posts. With the current xenophobic outbreak in Johannesburg, many expats and foreigners are wondering about the situation in Cape Town."
Anton,, you should add a 1311 and a Mossburg to your lineup!!
WOW! I didn't realize it is THAT bad!
I guess I would carry heavy too!

Not that bad in certain areas but yes, things are really getting worse every day. The goverment is trying to hide the high crime rate from the rest of the world. Anyway i'm not worried, I will crush
criminals.

Re: SHOW YOUR EDC. - 08/31/15 05:51 AM
I don't quite understand the EDC thing, I don't like carrying a bunch of stuff around. I keep my wallet, my keys, a decent folding knife with a good lock(SAK One handed Trekker, Enzo Birk, Enzo Borka, ZT 0562, 0801, or deciding on a 0452) a SAK (Farmer or Huntsman), and my phones. I work at a place with no weapons allowed so I don't CCW daily, but if I'm not working I carry a FAL FNP-9.
My FAK, fire kit, water filter, tarp, strop, ammo, fixed blades, etc. all go in the pack in my car.
Now that I look at that list above it looks like a bunch of stuff. I just try to keep it where it doesn't annoy me.

I carry IWB, so you won't even know it is there. A properly designed holster and sheath is very comfy. I carry my pistol, blade , wallet, phone and extra mag on me. It's not a lot to carry when you live in a country like this.

EDC stands for Every Day Carry, not how much a person can carry. If all a person carries every day is his wallet, that is his EDC. My EDC consists of wallet, keys, phone and a folding knife. Other items are added according to where I am going and/or what I will be doing that day.
