Order for a sage/ black canvas placed. The fusion handles paired with that monster blade did it for me. The fusion handle is hands down my favorite of all time on a chopper ( see TTKZ)

Looks awesome, but I will have to pass. Although it should be an excellent chopper it's just not my style. I'm more of the Battle Pappy style.

I'll pass on WTF. I only buy what I can see myself using. I could not justify buying something that:
1. I can swing only 2-3 times per day, or
2. have to get a gym membership and go and work out, just to be able to swing it a few times more.

That's actually a blade I could see using. I have a DF, 1311, and a 10" R9 from Justin made from a Busse blank and all get used. I love big choppers, and barring the rerelease of the BWM, this looks like a Busse Chopper I could 1) afford and 2) sink my teeth in. Good handle, lots of mass to let the blade do the work, and forward weight (I assume). Has me drooling.....

And with news from Lexi that they won't be charging fou about 8 weeks, it may be within my grasp!

Sage / Tan was my fav for a while, but I've come to appreciate Sage / Black the most.

I'll admit, I WOULD like to have one, but other things to buy and the BG price is just more than I want to pay. Now if Jerry were to drop it a C note...

I think this is where I stand too.

I think the price seems low compared to other offerings. If it was just a bit longer and less wide, it would have the same weight but be more useful to me. It's only 90 more than the talon battle mistress but is considerably more steel.

Still tempting me.....and nothing has really tempted me here in a looooong time

Well, "need" is a strong word...but after selling off some good steel and now (hopefully) doing some traveling, I might be able to add a blade and STILL give my wife a sizeable chunk of savings money. I figure anything I spend needs to be doubled in what I give her. At least that's my new policy Problem is if I DON'T end up traveling, I'd have to sell a gun to fund this. Not really interested in selling guns to pay for knives...just doesn't seem quite right...

Maroon and black.....looks like my thumb. Stabbed my nail through with the blade in my pocket. Stupid Emerson design....went to pull out my keys and impaled my thumb on a partially open blade. This is why I like fixed blades--you always know where the pointy end is.

And now comes the wonder and regret....do I really NEED a blade that size? Will I be able to carry it? How will my tiny paws fit around that handle? So many questions....

I caved on the BG. I doubt we will see many more blades with the edge that much lower than the handle, so I figured I could try it out to see how useful it could be. I won't deny pondering what portion of the spine could go byebye to lighten the thing up though.

It should make for a great cleaver!
