I had to pass on the ASH 2, bet l don't miss this one though.

I passed on the ASH2 because of the handle (beautiful looking, just didn't think it would work on a chopper), so I think the Trash 2 will be just my kinda thing.

I had my Trash out last night and wondered about a Trash II...that is going to be a beast!

The hard part for me is determining what needs to get sold to fund this purchase. I'm accumulating knives faster than the national debt is growing! I have to keep rethinking my "collection".

DOGS, I put up a pic and the specs for the TRASH 2 in Dan's original post. Now if he doesn't Ban me from the site for editing his post. I also put it up in the knife specs thread. I DO NOT understand. I posted a pic of the knife in Dan's original post for the knife and it worked fine. I put it in the knife specs thread and all it would post is a link to the pic!

The TRASH2 looks like a winner. Tall, thin, long with color options...love it.

I was wondering how you would feel about it since you disliked the 11 series and the TRASH 2 is everything the 911 isn't, and vice versa.

You pretty much summarized my opinion prior to a hands on evaluation.

The TRASH-2 looks to have the same blade as the ASH-2, but with a different handle. The ASH-2 feels GREAT in the hand!

I agree. I think the reduction from .22-.23 down to .187 will keep the balance just right with the res-c handles. Looking forward to the TRASH-2 for sure!

So what do you people think it will weigh? I'm thinking about 14oz if the House is about 15.7oz

To my Untrained and Bifocal assisted eyes, it looks a lot like a shortened 1111, but with a bit more drop to the point. I could VERY easily be wrong, but if Y'all compare the two you might find them kinda close in blade profile. Either way, it will be a GREAT addition to the Choppers, lending more blade heft than the 911 and less than the 1111.

I sadly will have to pass on Trash2 due to people who shouldn't be allowed to drive driving anyway... This 'person' seemed to get his licence back very recently too...

I have a terrible time judging the weight of knives, but if your 14oz prediction is accurate I'd be very happy.

See I thought it would weight as much as the 911, which was 16.7.
Its thinner than the 911,, but taller.. I bet they weight about the same,, but the Trash 2 should bite deeper with that thinner blade...IMO

Woulda been a good one to order, but got the WTF in train, so to speak, and not sure how many big choppers I need! That will give me 4, which is one for each kid to inherit some day
