A few Dogfather pics from today

Here are a couple of Dogfather pics from today, nothing special just chopped up some wood to go into my fire pit. Those are a few cucumbers I picked today with the intent of making pickles, but I only got 4 cucumbers.

Yeah the DF was a classic. Probably the best chopper I have ever seen, but alas, a Marine wanted it worse than I did and I did get a 911 out of the deal, so all is good.

We haven't heard from him for quite a while; I wonder how he's doing.

Last Patty and I saw of him on fb they were in the D.C. area where she was working for some politician. But knowing JJ, no telling what he is up to. Haven't seen anything from him in a while. I wish him well though.

I keep in touch with JJ. He's been reassigned to San Diego and his wife got a great new job there as well. She just arrived after driving the kids across country in some of the worst weather in history.

Always love to see the DF in action. Makes me think I'll gift my choppers on to my kids once they're settled rather than wait until after I'm gone. Those dogs and rats need a good beating... Better than I can routinely give them at any rate. I'll have to get another big blade though... I'll probably be buried with one of my current stock

I have thought the same thing. Possibly my 1311. I mean it's certainly NOT a sword, but it might suffice for a short "Flaming Sword".
