I used a DM LE years ago, and it is a little tank (well-built & tough). Also, while I like the Basic 5, I really like the 511 (for that blade length, 3/16" thickness is fine).

I’ve had a few Dumpster Mutts and my favorite was FHFG with a swedge. I’m still kicking myself for selling that thing.

Just went back and looked at the pics of the DM. Never dawned on me that the DMDC had a different handle than the LE and CG models.
