Does stonewash rust? i've never used it before? Is it safe for food?

It looks like an Alpha Dog 7.5 without the swedge (like on the AD6); I'm guessing 1.5" blade height.
I wonder what the DB stands for?

I really like the looks and specs. of this knife, which is why I ordered a satin AND a stonewashed model.

Kinda funny you say it...I'm in the woods so little these days my bigger knives sit too much so I hemmed and hawed. Finally decided it was like you said- a drop point Camp Tramp and would be good to pass them off to the kids later. I do edc a small fixed blade that is awesome...Joe Watson magni thst is a great small blade.

The magni is pretty cool!
Right now I edc either the Rodent Solution or a Winkler Wharncliffe.

The first run of Scrap Satin DB-421 is now on last call status with Stone Washed finish hot on the trail of a last call...but not yet.

A 4" version would be mad cool...like a mini-skinny-Ash

Paid for my 3 pieces of DB-421 with sheaths yesterday. Can't wait to receive them. This time I opted for UPS and not USPS so hopefully it won't take so long. I envy all of you who will receive them sooner

Got mine and it's very nice. Almost exact same size as a Camp Tramp and with that thinner stock feels nice.

The DB-421 is my favorite of the three. Round Choil, Drop point, .21 thick.

Also I never bought the 7/7, from a Company that will go unnamed, due to their rep.

This fits that role as well.
