Busse Triceratops - 10/30/21 11:56 PM

Dogs

The Busse Triceratops is coming out tomorrow night (Sunday) I grabbed one while no one was looking. While I am not a Karambit style guy this thing is unlike anything I have ever handled. Holy cow or I should say holy hog does this thing feel good in the hand...it doesn't make sense to me...unreal.

I wish I could make a Res C handle for it

Cool pics...Check out their thread on Blade Forum https://www.bladeforums.com/threads...tober-31-2021-at-9-00pm-eastern.1817483/

I did have to give it back since someone in the office squealed like pig on me LOL

Anyway, I thought you might enjoy the insight

It WOULD be perfect IF the blade was rotated 180 degrees so the point was pointed away from the hand. grin

Re: Busse Triceratops - 10/31/21 11:10 AM

I've bought a few ringed knives this year and they've really grown on me. With the blade down and curve in...believe that's more of a pikal...vicious knife style. It's all stab down and rip towards you with big muscle groups doing the work. Just devastating.

I'm awfully tempted.

I’ve very tempted to fill my pumpkin scale cravings with one.

There is more stuff available on the Busse web page than I expected. Super tempted by a number of knives.

I hear ya Mike. I DO like Jerry’s new “Dinosaur” but out of my range. We just got the G’kids new iPads for Christmas.

A Res-C tanto with a 4" blade would be sweet enough

That was probably the video that got me thinking of pikals..then saw a pic of an Ironside Edge Works shrike and ordered one. Nasty, nasty knife...

As far as which knife next- you all know what I would say! laugh

Hey guys,
Much love from the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. Not the worst deployment here...
Yesterday we got to go on a US immersion tour seen the strike eagles and the fighting falcons.
But I couldn´t resist ordering that triceratops - even though it would be HIGHLY illegal to carry it in Germany frown

Hope you are doing well!

WarDog handle or Basic handle?

I vote for Wardog. Just think it is a more versatile grip no matter how you hold it.

Agreed.

You know Dan says "I wish I could make a Res-C handle for it", so maybe a new design?

The TNT-15 was new maybe they have a whole bunch of new molds to test out

MM

PS Bring it Dan!!

Re: Busse Triceratops - 11/03/21 07:31 PM

MM, yeah but he also said the TNT handle had a “hardness” like the Mudders.
